Youth Tennis San Diego is a nonprofit organization providing physical, mental, emotional, educational, and social platforms through tennis for children to thrive. We thank Jesse Steinberg, Chief Operating Officer at Barnes, for his kind invitation and his foresight that skin cancer prevention education should begin with our youngest players.
Special thanks also go to assistant tennis professionals Paola Diaz and Chanel Simmonds, who helped organize and manage the event.
We had a fantastic audience of more than 50 children ages 6 to 12 and many assistant coaches. We were amazed by the discipline and focus of this large young group, as well as their smart questions and comments after the presentations.
