Barnes Tennis Center, San Diego, CA

On July 26th, 2024, we held a Skin Cancer Awareness Day event at Barnes Tennis Center, home of Youth Tennis San Diego, a nonprofit organization "providing physical, mental, emotional, educational, and social platforms through tennis for children to thrive". We would like to thank their management, especially Jesse Steinberg, Chief Operating Officer at Barnes, for his kind invitation and for his foresight that education about skin cancer prevention should start with our youngest players to be most effective!  Special thanks also to Paola Diaz and Chanel Simmonds, two amazing Assistant Tennis Pro's who helped us organize and manage the event!

We had a fantastic audience of over 50 kids 6-12 years of age and many assistant tennis coaches. We were amazed at the discipline and focus of this large, young group, and all their smart questions and comments after the presentations!
