We created educational banners encouraging junior tennis and pickleball players to raise awareness of skin cancer and use sun protection.
La Jolla Country Day School was the first school in the country to participate and has encouraged its students to prevent skin cancer since 2023. We have raised funds to produce 20 more banners and are collaborating with athletic directors from more than 20 high schools in the greater San Diego area.
